Still Johns pulling the strings. They're being leaned on more and more to produce pointless crap to push the New 52.
First Doom, then "Flashpoint Paradox" and now this garbage.

Doom shoehorning Cyborg for no reason.
Haven't seen Unbound, so I forgot about it lol

Don't even. Don't even.
You not only have Barry Allen at DC, you have Captain America, Thor, Hawkeye, and Starlord at Marvel. Call me when the media doesn't make you one of the top heroes in the whole universe beloved by all.
I WISH people who look like me were represented as well and as often as people with blonde hair and blue eyes.
Some people. SMH

Yeah, because I was definitely being serious.

its called sarcasm. relax yourself.
I love SHAZAM, but it is a slap in the face to aqua man fans, the same fans who supported the jl book and helped make it a hit.
with that said, i am a huge fan of billy, so im looking forward to seeing a different take on the story.
Blegh. What an effin' load.
@entropy_aegis: That moment when Batman reveals his identity to Green Lantern is still there. Just saying.

Damn it. To be honest I wouldn't have a problem with that scene if Bruce and Hal had known one another a couple of years leading up to that point, but anybody would know that somebody as paranoid as Batman would never reveal his identity to somebody he just met.

I can handle that,it's Darkseid I'm worried about.
Nah, I don't think they'll do that. They put too much effort into Aquaman in the n52 for them to do something like that.
I'll see you guys on another thread when the cast/plot/trailer is revealed
@entropy_aegis: Well, he sounds intelligent. That's an improvement :P
I actually missed that reveal in the video the first time i watched it. IT IS DUMB that they would replace Aquaman with Shazam. I like Shazam but there is not a good reason to switch them. I thought the Aquaman comic was doing well. They made him cool finally.
Aquaman is one of the 2 that actually pierced Darksieds and injured him
@entropy_aegis: Isn't Hal Jordan his favorite?
@chucky47: I don't see why he should.
Also I'm glad Christopher Gorham is in this. I've liked him ever since Popular.

I really don't care, Aquaman was nothing but a glorified cameo in the original story, with an introduction that was lazy as hell, just like every other character that appeared in the book. In all honesty, the farthest they stem from Johns' story, the better.
Besides, maybe this movie can make me buy all of these dynamics they talk about so much yet are not developed at all, that's the problem with Johns (well, one of his problems), he has cool ideas but his execution is so freaking weak, I see no real dynamic antagonistic yet mutual respect relationship between Hal and Batman, just sporadic personality clashing from a fanboy under the pen who uses his favorite character as his avatar for him to "interact" to another fictional character. The Wonder Woman/Supes relationship, as f*cking obvious as it may be, could make for some good stories from a better angle (say the synopsis for their upcoming ongoing, "Everyone is against them", now that right off the bat outdoes anything Johns has ever done with them). And finally the Cyborg/Billy relationship, that for some reason people keep talking about how great it is even though there is no relationship to begin with, it hasn't even happened yet, but people like it because it's a cool idea. Now, the sad part is that after the movie's done we'll have to continue dealing with Johns' insipid interpretation of these dynamics in the comics, but it'll be nice to see that they can actually work.
@comicfan11: Do you have the most basic common sense? This conversation is going nowhere. You don't need to have causal, scientific proof to be correct. Observing patterns for answers is done everyday. Wait until winter if you want to be proven wrong. I will not respond to you again.
Preach.
Other than in The Flashpoint Paradox where he is essentially a villain, Aquaman is always screwed over in these movies. When i heard that they were making a movie out of the Origins story the thing i was most exited about was Aquaman, i mean he had the coolest moment in the entire story.
@outlawrenegadefangirl: Get your new fake account "OutlawRenegadeFangirl" (LOL) and GTFO.
You said you wouldn't respond to me dude, and you create a fake account to do so?

Pathetic.

Definitely.
Um, are we sure Aquaman is not in it? The credits at the end did not feature a voice actor for Shazam, though he is in the featurette & it appears Wonder Woman & Cyborg have been relegated to mere supporting roles. Arthur could still be in the movie, just in a smaller role.

I'm actually glad that Billy is getting some love.
I'm very glad, nothing against Aquaman but if they have the guts to kick out the writer's favorite it means that they're straying VERY FAR from the original which is awesome. Also Darkseid fighting Batson is a lot more believable than getting stabbed by a fucking trident.
