So they weren't planning on killing him after all. Oh well, the good thing about this whole ordeal is that it showed that John still has a strong fanbase even after all of these years.

It just says that Robert and Van didn't want to kill him off. Editorial probably did.

Glad that plan went down the drain. And with John finally taking center stage in GLC, it looks like DC editorial is finally seeing that John is full of untapped potential waiting to be unleashed.

I knew he was but In the GL Annual Hal said he died and i hadnt seen past the previews
