New Teaser Trailer From Marvel's 'Jessica Jones' on Netflix

Marvel has releases a short teaser from the upcoming Netflix Original, Jessica Jones. We've seen a teaser trailer already but it was more like the opening intro sequence without any actual footage. With this new teaser, we do (sort of) see some actual footage. Jessica had a rough night and is clearly not a morning person.

She's playing Jane from Breaking Bad, with superpowers.

If the alarm was going to annoy her she could have just set it to a different tone.

This isn't exactly much to go on. But then again Marvel could release a teaser trailer of Luke Cage taking a Dump and fans would eat it up ( The trailer not the dump)

I hate that she's going to be a lot older than Peter Parker. Other than that it looks pretty good.

@lurkero: She probably has it set to radio and has no control to what plays. And I don't know about you, but that'd most likely be my reaction no matter what played. I've come to loathe some of my favorite songs because I set them as my alarm.

It would be funny if later she pulls a new clock radio out of the closet full of them. Yeah, this show can't get here soon enough for me.

I like how it fools you into thinking that she was going to just turn it off like a normal person.

This show is based after her short stint as a superhero, I believe.

Think it's more fair to say Jones is not a 'waking up' person. Given the alarm's set to 3:00 PM, judging by the sunlight.

Looking good. Didn't show a whole lot but the one big question I had was answered so I can't complain. It's nice to be in the superhero show season again with AOS starting this week with Arrow and Flash around the corner then in a brief time we'll have Jessica Jones :).

I don't think they will. They'll probably stick with her origin, it's not owned by any other companies or anything since she's not a mutant. She just got the ol' doused with chemicals treatment.

Side note I would love if they can get Bryan Cranston as villain on this show.

she has super strength.no human being can do that when he/she just woke up.even if he/she is awake and at full strength they couldnt destroy that alarm clock with one hand or even with both hands.

In the original story, Jessica take her power by experimental chemical/radiactive [military] wast, and Jessica live near Peter Parker

In the MCU, the show is set in New York, near Hell's Kitchen, and we have already seen some experimental chemical/radiactive wast: that wich give Matt Murdock his "powers" burning his eyes.

Maybe the two hero in the MCU share power origins, with "different result" by the exposure of the same experimental substance. That may also related to the powers of Luke Cage. Maybe that chemical substance was the origin of a group of heroes born in the same area...

Why? Her being the same age as Peter is literally a small part of her character with no impact on her story. It makes sense that she's around the age as Daredevil, Luke Cage and Iron Fist than Spider-man.

It's not about the teaser. I didn't watch it. Jessica Jones never struck me as an interesting character in comic books, so I was uninterested in the show before the teaser was released.

Give it a chance. You don't think Marvel is going to make her much more interesting and engaging in her own show? The great part of Marvel Studios is them focusing on lesser known characters and really focusing on what makes those characters great. I'm sure Jessica Jones will be much more interesting here than in recent comics.

I don't know if you know this but there was fiction before GoT....yeah....and they did all kind of stuff....even stuff GoT does now that you think is original. I know, shocking right?

This show looks good. Hate the cast though.
