Well, if it IS serious..it worked, lol, I have always been wanting to read Invincible, but I'm too lazy to read over 100 issues worth of trades, so this could be the perfect opportunity for me! an ALL NEW opportunity.

Pretty sure it is serious. Going out of his way to prove you can get more readers with a new jumping on point without actually "relaunching" is very much something the Kirkmans would do.

I know, I know, I've been hearing that. But I literally spent an entire summer (last summer actually) getting caught up on The Walking Dead, it drained me mentally and financially!

Hmm. I started reading invincible when the series was around issue 85. It was an incredible journey. Once I was all caught up I stuck with the series till about issue 105. I cannot stress how much fun I had reading this. However, the issues just get released too slowly, and when I do finally get my hands on a new issue it feels wayyyyy shorter than an issue of most other ongoing series.

So, sadly, for now, there is nothing that I think can bring me back into the fold of getting the single issue releases. I'm just waiting for the next group of trades so I can sit down and have a substantial read. Hopefully enough you out there keep buying the single issues so that the series can keep coming out :p

This is pretty standard fare for the series. Anyone remember the fifty-FIRST ISSUE cover?

One of the things I love about this book is that there's always something big happening and since it's not tied to any status quo those things that happen are indeed big.

@the_stegman: While I understand where you're coming from I personally recommend reading all the way from the beginning, it's much more rewarding that way.

I don't care that tons of people are bombarding you with comments telling you to read it…READ IT!!! It's honestly the best superhero book of the last 10 years.

@the_stegman: Please, for the love of God, read those trades. I was like you. "I don't want to read a decade's worth of issues," I said, before picking up the first issue, becoming instantly hooked and then somehow blasting through all current 109 issues in the space of five days. Yep. It's that good, that captivating. Read it.
