We often take close looks at comic book collectibles. That means taking it out of the package. Today's selection actually didn't really come with a package. It's kind of not really a toy either. Let's take a quick look at Marvel's The Infinity Gauntlet bank.
This is a Previews exclusive (Item Code: FEB148002). It was released on December 3 and you may have seen it at your local comic shop. When I swung by one of the shops I go to, I saw it and couldn't resist. I'm not one for plastic banks. I hate coins. But who doesn't want a giant Infinity Gauntlet?
The list price for this is $29.99. If your local comic shop doesn't have it, you could ask them to order it. You can even order it online. Amazon even has it HEREif you want it delivered to your home.
This is something that you could put on a corner of your desk or on a shelf. It could even make a great gift for those comic book reading friends and family members. You can even use it as a swear jar for yourself if you have a potty mouth. Here's some more shots.
All the Infinity Gems are there for you to gaze into. If you do use it as a bank, there is an easy-to-open port at the bottom. Just remove the sticker/UPC.
If you're like me and don't really end up with too much spare change, there are other uses for it.
Who hasn't wished they could fist bump with Thanos? Although fist bumping the Infinity Gauntlet could be hazardous for the entire universe.
There is one slight problem with the design of this. I almost hate to mention it because it could be a deal-breaker for some. Take a close look at the pics above. Do you see what's off?
This gauntlet is the wrong hand.
But if it were me, I'd want the Gauntlet on my right hand, not left.
It's only thirty bucks. If you're looking for a coin bank or a gift for a friend, it's a fun and neat thing to have.
