@kingmark14: I don't have the scan right now, meaybe someone can provide it. I know it was some time ago, so it may not be canon anymore, but it certainly has been.

A star in Infinity 6. A star weighs more than Earth so that's more than Thor or Superman (not Silver Age) have lifted. Superman's 'black' hole feat has no context as the black hole was tiny so we don't know the weight. These are Acid Skull's scans :

He is. The spears are holding Hulk down with the weight of a star.

*Sigh* Comic writers *smh* this is why I don't read comics. Weight of a star, lmfao.

@theacidskull: I hate Spiderman. He's too weak for what his powers are. He can lift 25 tons yet struggles with people like the Hulk? LOL That's straight BS. You could knock down a skyscraper with a finger flick/strong punch if you were strong enough to attack things with 25 tons, punching somebody multiple times in milliseconds would decimate them. But comics don't use logic >.>

Yea holding the weight of 20 planets is where we all draw the line a single planet more and it would be just too silly.

@sheenlantern: The fact that such ridiculous weight didn't outright kill him or the fact that he isn't lying face deep in dirt and helpless instead holding himself on all fours.

That's what I'm wondering? I might just be seeing it wrong but it looks like Hulk is being held down now lifting it?

@thitiki: If this wight had been put on spider-man he'd be flat out crushed. The fact that hulk isn't dead and the fact that he's on his knees suggest that he's supporting the weight, what's so hard to get about this?

You cleared it up. I just briefly looked at the scans and really didn't get what you were trying to say. It is impressive though on Hulks part like you said. Question though does the blade need to make contact with you to hold you down or does it just have to be near you?

@theacidskull: @raynorj: because it's Thanos generals holding him down and beating him up. Even though I am a Thor fan the best part of the book is when Thanos beats him to a pulp.

he isn't on the ground getting crushed? hulk weighs less than a ton, he he manages to stand on his knees, and he was arguably almost getting up.

why are people trying to refute this? they can't/

Uh, well, if he had stood up, and the villain said "...I....Impossible!" and Hulk said "Hulk strongest one there is!" and punched him, I would agree. But sort of...sitting there, doesn't impressive me, personally.

@sheenlantern: It doesn't impress you that hulk is on his knees from having the wight of a star on his shoulders, and it doesn't impress you that he's not dead nor crushed?

Not really, it's the freaking Hulk. Let's see him making some gains.

Yes, I can see him supporting the weight just barely. That's not a lifting feat though but it is impressive. You can take your average weightlifter and say he can lift X amount of weight but he can most likely support much more.

My biggest problem is "zomg, the weight of a star". If they weighed that much wouldn't the ground and planet underneath be instantly crushed?

Not really. Only if it had the literal mass of a star.

Weight is relative however.

Not trying to nitpick you but if we don't know the size of "the star" then you shouldn't rule it out like you did the Supes' feat.

still more impressive than anything thor, hercules, etc have done so eh, I like it.

Not just impressive but far more impressive, as far as i know none of the Marvel hero powerhouses have even come close to this.

It's a comic book dude.... Look at any of Hulks, Thors, Hercs, Juggernauts physical feats and most of them wont make any sense whatsoever. My personal favorite is Thor pulling the Midgard Serpent with a fishing rod that lached itself onto Earth without actually crushing the Earth or destroying it's atmosphere all it did was cause slight Earthquakes lol. And Silver Age Superman... oh man he is in his own category of legendary implausibility.

Yikes, its comics, probably about 100 characters including Superman, Thor, Garfield and Hulk have lifted things like the infinity book, sword of everything and the lasagna of perpetual mass. Sometimes its not literal and even when it is, its still fake, and often writer dependent. Which means no fake character has true objective fake abilities that are impressively faker than the other fake things that fake their fakeness as well either. Shucky ducky.

@sc: I just find it funny. Hulk, lifting a star, supporting the weight of what, (let's say the star was the same as our sun) like over 95% or something of our solar system's mass....And a hammer blow from Thor hurts him.

Things like that make me lose faith in what writers are allowed to write. Feats can be so... Strange.
