Press Release

Warner Archive Collection continues to treat fans to Blu-ray™ releases of popular animated television with “Green Lantern: The Comlete Animated Series” coming March 18. The complete 26-episode series – on Blu-ray™ to best display the series’ stunning CG artistry – is now available for pre-order via Amazon.

“Green Lantern: The Complete Animated Series” is Warner Bros. Animation’s latest take on the intergalactic missions of Hal Jordan and his comrades in the Green Lantern Corps. Beautifully rendered on a breathtaking scale, “Green Lantern: The Complete Animated Series” is Warner Bros. Animation’s first completely CG-animated series.

Josh Keaton leads the way as the voice of Hal Jordan/Green Lantern, alongside voice-acting stars Kevin Michael Richardson (as Kilowog), Grey DeLisle (as Aya) and Jason Spisak (as Razer). The stellar guest cast includes Robert Englund (A Nightmare on Elm Street), Ron Perlman (Hellboy), Clancy Brown (The Shawshank Redemption), Wayne Knight (Seinfeld), Juliet Landau (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Kurtwood Smith (That 70s Show, Resurrection), Phil Morris (Smallville), Brian George (Seinfeld) and many more.

Executive produced by Sam Register (Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Ben 10), and Bruce Timm (Batman: The Animated Series), “Green Lantern: The Complete Animated Series” is produced by Giancarlo Volpe (Star Wars: The Clone Wars) and Jim Krieg (Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox).

I should be happy, but this just reignited my depression over the fact that it's cancelled along with Young Justice.

It might not help but maybe if WB saw loads of pre-orders or high sales, they might reconsider??? Probably not. But it will look sweet on Blu-ray.

Pleaseberegionfree pleaseberegionfree...

The series' broadcast was...b*****dized in the UK on CN and this would be SO GOOD.

So...please be kind WB...

Because the only other options I have are a UK PS4 and a PC with a blu ray drive but that ain't convenient. Unless my Blu Ray player is secretly multi-region.

@jonny_anonymous: It had a full 26 episodes. Now you know how anime fans feel. At least I'm used to it. To be fair, animes are planned like that ahead of time and will write a beginning, middle, and end accordingly.

This is awesome though. Glad it's not coming out in stupid kids DVD packs that have 4 episodes each (you going to properly release Young Justice WB?) Blu-Ray makes me so happy.

Just pre-ordered my copy. I loved the show but I never had the chance to finish watching it. The last episode I saw was the Guy Gardner one. I'm excited to get this and watch it all.

Can they release Legion of Super-Heroes too, I feel that show keeps getting the shaft.

I really liked GL:TAS but man I'm already set to pick up Spectacular Spider-Man on Blu Ray. Still holding out hope for a YJ Blu Ray set even though I've already bought it all on DVD.

The production and airing of this show is not up to DC

I really hope that happens...

Kinda depressing when a show that began airing just a couple of years ago is already considered "archive" material.

I just placed my preorder. This series is excellent. Hopefully the sales will be high enough for Warner Bros to release a direct to DVD movie. There's green in this series.

Loved the show.

I usually don't like animated TV series, they are usually too childish (which makes sense since their main audience would be younger viewers). This show, however, was freakin' awesome, I did not expect to get hooked on in.

Oh the feels :(

Let me get this straight: A product derived from a Warner-owned company, DC, is being released by the Warner Archive Collection. A show that was originally aired on the Warner-owned Cartoon Network. Said Network cancelled the same show (completely unexpectedly, I might add) because it didn't get ratings (though we all know it was because it didn't sell toys). Then, in the press release for the very same show that apparently no one watched, it gets hyped as the "popular animated television" show. Consider "Bullshit" called.
