Sounds good. I get that tonight. All on my lonesome with a good movie and my submission notes to type. It's actually good fun :D. You know, we should talk about something intellectual on the first page of this thread. Or just revert to me asking you how the Dr Who submission's coming?

Here's something verging on intellectual: I don't suppose you know the names of any binary star systems off by heart?

Examples of binaries are Algol (an eclipsing binary), Sirius, and Cygnus X-1 (of which one member is probably a black hole).

Detecting planets around multiple star systems introduces additional technical difficulties, which may be why they are only rarely found. Examples include PSR B1620-26c and HD 188753 Ab, the latter being the only known planet in a ternary system as of 2006

Beautiful, thanks :) The techniques used for resolving and finding binaries are similar to those used for finding new planets. I'm a lil bit of a nut on the subject, I have to admit. Love the pic. I'm gonna use that :D

Which is what Albireo is. An odd little one too. The two main stars are so far apart that at first they were only believed to be a coincidental binary but it turns out they are in orbit around each other. Then the larger star turned out to be a close binary too. Man, I love astrophysics.

For the most part yeah but I've been trying to solve this problem on and off for two months now. It's getting on my nerves a wee bit and if I don't come up with half an idea by the end of the day, I'm gonna ask my boss for help.
