I hope and I wish he keeps doing Superman.... I would only let him go to direct and Aquaman movie. BAD ASS UNDERWATER FIGHTS FTW!!!

JL 1 and Superman. I want to see other directors to direct other DC movies and JL 2 etc.

I highly doubt he'll let go of JL, He's not Nolan, he's not this artistic person that needs to direct something new. He's consistently been a Comic Book Movie guy. Before Avengers came out everyone would have bet money that JL would have been the first superhero movie, and now after Avengers people crave a JL movie more than ever. He's not gonna let go.

Its not his decision, and if he directs JL then he already have directed four DC movies, 3 of which are in continuity, its bad for quality.

Tell that too Micheal Bay. It's not a good example but hear me out, unlike most directors Zack loves comic books and will put his heart and soul into them. If Whedon said he was gonna direct 6 Marvel movies, people would faint. I have hopes that Snyder will break the curse and deliver us a great JL trilogy (but hopefully it goes past 3). All we need is a great plan and good scripts.

Not bad. We'll get to see Flash do his stuff in JL, but I'd like to see more than what we'll get in JL (which is probably not a lot.)

I don't like it, JL doesn't need to be directed be the same director, if he's directing the JL trilogy then he shouldn't direct any other DC movies including Superman. And I definitely don't want him to direct other DC movies besides Superman or JL.

@saint_wildcard: But Snyder didn't reach anywhere the same amount of success as Whedon's Avengers. It's the 3rd highest grossing film ever and got great reviews, Marvel would trust Whedon with anything at stage.

MoS made more than all of Marvels firs films. DC just confirmed him for the sequel and JL..... despite bad some critics. If BvS makes more money and then JL even more, that's all the studio cares about. I'm worrying about the quality and from what I hear, BVS is gonna be EPIC!!! So unless BvS or Justice League flop or make less money, I think Snyder will be getting the same treatment from WB. Also

It annoys me when people say that without taking into account inflation.

I don't think its wise to do too many films. Limits creativity. I'm fine with him doing JL but after that he should stop. I especially want to see Affleck's take on a Batman film because he is a wonderful director.

Flash and Aquaman and stuff, I have no idea who they should or could get. But there is lots of great talent out there.

@saint_wildcard: Yeah, but even Gotgn is beginning to outpass MOS, if not already. MOS is not enough for the level of control you want Snyder to have.

He's right about Snyder loving the source material and needing better scripts to work with though.

The latter I can definitely agree with but with Goyer heading up the DCCU scripts, the same guy who called Martian Manhunter a goofball and She-Hulk a pornstar, I find that highly unlikely. As for Snyder loving the source material, if he really liked it, he wouldn't have made MOS the disgrace and controversy it was. It was Snyder along with Goyer who championed the edgy, moody and angsty Superman and that is a crime against the character regardless of how much you love the source material.

Goyer is finished,that's why he lashed out at MM and She-Hulk,Chris Terrio has usurped him. I think MOS was toeing the WB line, from what I know WB has given them a no jokes,no fun policy.

@entropy_aegis: I hope you're right that Goyer's finished as a DCCU script writer. MAYBE, with him gone, some better script writer MIGHT be able to balance out the overrated IMO directing skills of Zack Snyder.

I want someone else on Superman. Duncan Jones or Darren Arronofsky.

I personally only want him on MOS, I hope they diversify their directors as the DCCU revs up, it would surely test the cohesiveness of the DCCU, as in a slightly diffrent feel from MOS or BvSDOJ, but still connected..Also I just think it's asking for trouble having one guy take on a whole universe.

I hope just JL and supes. If he directed any more heros it would be overwhelming for him and the quality would probably start to suffer.

3D Ticket Sells.

Man of Steel didnt sold that much tickets and besides the fact you have make two dollars in the box office for every dollar in the budget, so you get your budget back, MoS final budget was 375 millions.

150 were marketing.

Man Of Steel need to made 750 millions so it got his budget back from the box office.

DC won money thanks to his deal with Wall Mart, not the box office.

This is how movies make money today.

Also if we wan to talk of real thing, we should talk about one thing only, ticket sells, i remember have talk about this several times and the number always ends with Avengers being stomped by the Original Star Wars Trilogy, because all those movies sold more tickets, even when this movie open in less markets.

Also i hope Snyder stop making every single thing, people could say anything they want about Nolan, but he was only directing Batman and put everything he could in Batman only.

Besides the fact, this hurt the chances that the other director can put their vision in the characters, since they have to follow Snyder direction.

Its the same mistake that Marvel is doing, being monochromatic.
