I get the impression that DS and Highfather are kind of a balance or powers, armies and perhaps personally. I don't know how evenly matched they are phsyically. Yuga Khan made a brief appearance, escaping from the Source(?) Scared the heck out of Darkseid, took control of Apokalips, then went on his dopey quest again to end his run. I'm curious if he has more backstory. i'd love to see him back but maybe he was written too powerful. Anyways, if it is know, who kept him in check? Was Allfather powerful enough to, or was it some older good god who's now gone. If it was Allfather, then shouldn't he have stopped DS a long time ago? Maybe he's older and weaker, or is it like Odin and those types who let their sons do the work unless the universe is absolutely crumbling, then they come out and fight?
