Though I would like to add one thing, that I left off.

Idris Elba. Heimdall. He was awesome and he brings such an epic feel to what is a very minor character.

To me? I feel like he could potentially be a waste of talent. This dude should be a main character (BLACK PANTEHR!). He has the talent to carry an entire franchise so its a bit sad that's probably going to be stuck as a minor guy.

I've posted my opinions too many times already lol. I'll just leave it at this, I thought it was excellent.

Wanted to see less Loki and more of the actual foe but I didn't mind it.

Then again I've never read a Thor book so i don't know how valid my opinion is.

Saw a matinee today. Thought Eccelston was a bit underwhelming as Malekith and didn't like Kurse's design. Other than that I liked it a lot. Probably a little more than the first one even.

I didn't think it was his fault.

The script/story was just horrible for him. His motivations were stupid and he wasn't threatening at all.

3.5/5.

I liked the Thor/Loki relationship, the final battle, the mid-credits scene, and a certain unexpected cameo.

The movie was good and in my opinion better than the first one but yet again it wasn't a Marvel movie that I will remember or one that I will always love.

3.5/5

Felt too Star Trek-ish. Villain was underwhelming. Comedy was kinda funny, but felt forced in retrospect.
