I don't care what anyone says, I like New52 Nightwing...(though he is nearly identical to pre52 Nightwing) blue never made sense....red..COME ON.....he was Robin....why would he switch colors.....

I wasn't being sarcastic.....I was being quite literal ....That IS my favorite version of her....nonexistent.

hate her...shes just a good example of crutch writing....(lets narrate her character and make it intense, with a ridicules backstory, so we don't have to write it.) there are woprse examples out there, but none so popular
I don't care what anyone says, I like New52 Nightwing...(though he is nearly identical to pre52 Nightwing) blue never made sense....red..COME ON.....he was Robin....why would he switch colors.....
He was emulating Superman as Nightwing and in Post-Crisis he wanted to get away from anything Robin to show Batman he wasn't a kid anymore.

Wow, talk about threadomancy. one year and one month old thread revived...
wait seriously... he was emulating Superman? then wheres the red?
I guess I can see trying to get away from robin to show batman he wasn't a kid anymore, but he probably should have not switch from a feathered call name. too a feathered callname. plus keeping the red would have given him a line from one personna to the other.
I did read a mini where the blue was picked specifically because it was Robin's Egg Blue, so again... not really running from his past.
@bierschneeman: Sorry, didn't notice the date.
No he was emulating Superman/Krypton's Nightwing and he chose to keep the yellow from Robin instead of the red.
There have been multiple explanations given and I'm taking mine from Nightwing 102. *shrug*
