Personally, mine is a tie between TDKR and V for Vendetta
Your favorite graphic novel?
Far too many, but one of them is The Art of War.
@mr_clockwork91: You liked the first volume the best?
I hate the term Graphic Novel they're comics, just admit it and quit trying to hide behind fancy terminology. Graphic Novel is a term invented by people ashamed to admit they love comics and I will not be party to the sham.
@joshmightbe: Who loves you baby.
@joshmightbe: but they actually are graphic novels. Everyone knows a graphic novel is a comic book so its not like they're trying to hide it.
@dagmar_merrill: The entire series, but #7 Brief Lives was my overall favorite.
@jayc1324: Then just say comic, no need for two terms to describe the same thing (Yes I also hate synonyms but its too late to end those.)
@mr_clockwork91: #31 is my favorite.
@joshmightbe: I've always said the difference between a comic book and a novel is the length and lack of advertisements.
@dagmar_merrill: Distant Mirrors right? Great story!
@mr_clockwork91: Yup, 3 Septembers and a January.

Partly true. Many comic creators and me agree that term can bring certain pretension.
But the term "graphic novel" is a word for a collected edition and the OP is asking your favorite one.
BB
All Star Superman, Planet and World War Hulk, Spiderman : The Other, Spiderman, Death of Gwen and George Stacy, Batman : Hush and Arkham Asylum and my all-time favourite, Civil War. There are more but that's what I can think of right now. Oh and there is N52 Action Comics Superman and Men of Steel.
@billy_batson: Actually the technical term for a collected edition is Trade Paperback. Graphic Novel is a term that was popularized in the 90s during the speculators boom when tons of non fans were buying up comics like crazy for the sake of later resale value. Those people treated fans who actually gave a damn about comics like lepers and didn't want to be too closely associated with us. So they started using the term Graphic Novel.
