Your favorite franchise to comic adaptation?

So basically post your favorite franchise (whether its a movie, tv series, video game) that has become a comic (Lets avoid complete adaptations and more in line of prequels, sequels, tie-ins and whatnot)

I recall reading Halloween comics which I thought were lame. I'm interested in reading the Evil Dead/Army of Darkness comics but I don't know where to start.

As a film, I would go with Irredeemable, The Boys, and Hack/Slash. As a TV show, I would go with DMZ, Judge Dredd, and Thief of Thieves. All of these would bring something new to their respected mediums.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic

The whole Buffy-verse lends itself so naturally to comics. I love it all. The books that came out while the show was running, seasons 8, 9 and now 10. Angel & Faith, Angel: After the Fall, Spike, etc. All wonderful stuff, quite literally.
