Your favorite artist that draws comic babes very well?

Erik is amazing. I mean, he's going to be on the news for trying to nab little kids from the park, but until then he's amazing.

As toward the topic, my favorite artists who draw the girlies is Luis Royo, and Julius Zimmerman. but, I can't show you the artwork...too adult.

I lost my internet for a day and an half because of a bad storm but I see others have stepped up, thanks! Luis Royo Rocks! On my image gallery I have my favorite one of his work's posted, I have loved it since the first time I saw it in 1991. I don't understand why V.A. has to use such language when we are just trying to discuss things! I have to concede that I haven't viewed every peice of artwork Liefeld has ever produced but the peices I have seen (the two issue series of Teen Titans last year, for example) are good. Maybe he sends all his bad work to you because he knows you hate him so or read those titles! As I said before I would imagine that all artist occasionally produce work that they would love to have back again but had to meet a deadline or such!

While I commend you on your championing and overall general positive outlook concerning mr anatomically incorrect, I mus concur that not everything rob does is terrible. This however does not excuse the fact that it was done and he is supposed to be a high calibur artist that influences other young artists. In an industry with the likes of alex ross, adam hughes, terry dodson, billy tan, david finch and other superb artists, it is worrisome that he should ever produce a piece of art that is subpar there is too much talent out there for that. Back to the thread I like Eric Basaldua as well.

Reading the original post, it asks who is your favorite artist that draws comic babes very well. Which would mean that it's not simply about your favorite artist of the female form, but about the artist that can draw that form very well.
 
Which means Micheal Turner and Rob Leifeld (or however you spell it) cannot be in this list.

It's like saying Picaso and DaVinci are my favorite artist that can capture facial expressions well. Both are artists, true enough, but both of them can't be on a list about that particularly specific subject matter.

I really liked Frank Cho's work on Mighty Avengers.

I love Art Adams...and Jim Lee in the 90's X-Men.

I like Frank Cho -- his girls feel like they could stand their ground, while other artists, like Deodato, have kind of... wimpy limbs. I'm sure Vance is going to snark at me, but I prefer a girl who could actually save the world, than someone who would look attractive as she died.

Have to go with Ed Benes. There are lots of others, but he is a personal fav. Oh and um, Rob Liefield does suck. I mean, compared to me, sure he's great, but I'm not an artist. Compared to most other pro artists out there it's really no comparison. And this is coming from a former fan. I used to think he was good when I was a kid and read New Mutants. Then I started noticing real artists and how they didnt hide feet and anything else they couldn't draw. Then there is the disproportions, extra muscles and accessories... I could go on and on, but I won't.
