Your expectations for Captain America: Civil War - Official concept art

It has the potential to be the best MCU movie. It would be foolish to not treat it as big as The Avengers movies.

I imagined the Concept art to be Stark holding Steve head

Considering the Russos made what many consider the best CBM yet in TWS, I think this storyline with the bigger cast has a chance to definitely top that

I have trust in the Russos. That concept art is nothing spectacular though.

Iron Man armor based on extremis, *drools*.

Nice to see the Iron Man armor change a bit.

But overall, that doesn't get me excited more than I was.

You gotta be sh!t'in me!!! That's EXACTLY what the last 6 or so seconds of the BvS trailer looks like. Batman and Superman running towards each other in the same battle/fight poses....Jesus. 2016 is truly Batman vs Superman VS Captain America vs Iron Man, they're not even trying to hide it anymore *smh*

I voted for both 8 and 7. I anticipate a good movie, better than AoU at least.

I think the MCU will jump shark before this movie is released.

It's only the beginning stages so my hype levels (high) are staying the same!

My expectations for this film are much higher than Avengers. Hope it doesn't let me down.

Anticipating it to be the best MCU movie what with the awesome material that they have and the great directors that are taking charge. Because of the cool story concept they have, I think it's going to finally break from the standard Marvel formula. No more macguffin driven plot and no throwaway one shot villain.

A fresh plot and story we've never seen before from the MCU is what's gonna make this awesome. Add to that the massive cast, full of heroes we haven't seen enough of or are new (Ant-Man, Black Panther, Winter Soldier, maybe Spider-man and possibly even more new heroes along with the new avengers). It's not going to feel like a predictable, mediocre story like Thor: Dark World where there's little impact on the MCU. We have no idea how the ending is going to turn out and how it will impact on the Universe. It's not going to be as simple as the good guys win and the bad guys lose - an aspect that makes me very excited. This is the darker Avengers movie that everyone wanted Age of Ultron to be, but instead we'll have more of a focus on the conflicts of one of the best Avengers.

I've never given an MCU movie higher than an 8 because of the familiar formula we see in every movie. But this has has the potential to be fresh.

If the Russos manage to successfully handle a massive cast and the writers make the best out of the material (these things i'm very skeptical of), it could possibly reach a 9/10 for me.

Winter Soldier is one of Marvel Studios best movies so far so that gives me a lot of hope. On the other hand, I dont think Marvel Studios has handled team ups all that well yet, so that brings my hope done a touch.

I expect it to better than both Avengers movies and maybe even The Winter Soldier. It will be hard to top TWS.

As someone who doesn't like the MCU or the Civil War comic, my expectations are pretty low.

Also, minor point, but why do they keep changing Cap's suit? The TFA one and the slightly altered version of that in WS were perfect.

I don't know what they are fighting about since they have no secret identities. I also think they should have not done this story at all or made it two parts since its so big, or they should have waited so they could include all of the heroes that are coming in it. It just seems fishy to me. Marvel has not failed yet though.

Yeah and in this case stark is the one who wanted the freedom to do what ever he wanted, namely Building Ultron, while cap wanted him to be responsibility and confront the team...


At no point did he actually ever appologize or say he was wrong for building Ultron, he just went on about being a mad scientist and how people like him and banner have to own it. Perhaps that's what leads to it. His obsession to protect the world.

I'm not a big fan of good guy vs good guy as the central plot. That said the Russo's did make my favorite CBM. I'll trust em to do it right.

The only similarities it has with BvS is that it's hero vs hero, the stories will be completely different. But I must admit that does look like the extra BvS footage.

My hype for Civil War admittedly went down a bit after AoU. I expected the movie to build on and end with Tony and Steve ending their friendship because of the creation of Ultron in order to lead into Civil War, but we really didn't get that. Just a few arguments.

I enjoyed Civil War in the comics and the Russos have made an amazing CBM movie in the past so I'm definitely interested. I just hope they give a good reason as to why Steve even has a chance against Iron Man in a fight like they did in the comics.

So what's the problem?

By "leak" I mean leak oil or whatever the Iron Man suit runs on... ehh nevermind...

I expect a massive clash of egos!

A solid 8/9 don't want to set my expectation too high.

I'm more excited for this than any other MCU film (except Infinity War).
