you vs darkseid

Darkseid has come to earth bringing his army including his son orion to destroy it and you are the hero that must stop them

U get two super powers one powerul weapon and an army of your own and one more charchater to deal with orion.So what do u have to stop darkseid and his army.

@oceanmaster21: Get Bizarros powers (Not his looks) and a Sinestro ring. And Wonder Woman with me ;). I'd have an army of The original Xmen (60's). I think we cab take him.

I challenge him to a game of wits. How hilariously un-clever I am will trap him in an endless continuum of laughter, long enough for the universe to collapse on itself a quadrillion-quadrillion-quadrillion years from now. I win...in the end.

All the Green, Yellow, Red, Blue, and Indigo Lanterns, The entire Nova corp, The Legion of Superheroes, the Men in Black, the Kree and Skrull empires..... All at full power.

Well if marvel stuff is allowed, Frankie Richards and Supreme's (original version, not allan more's) powers, infinity gauntlet (overkill i suppose), Sentry to deal with Orion, and shiar army?

I wanted to keep it all marvel for fun, and go with X-man's powers as well, but a stray nick from ds would kill me, so went with some durability, and Supreme was just awesome. As for sentry, I don't know much about those heavy hitters like hyperion, gladiator, sentry, so just took one from the top of the list, http://www.comicvine.com/profile/powerherc/lists/marvels-strongest-heroes/20380 , and I have a feeling hulk would just get some flame war thing going

For powers I'll take omniscience & force field generation. I would fight with the Phoenix Blade with an army of Jedi. Gladiator to deal with Orion.

Some people took "two super powers" to mean "two characters' power sets". That's cheating :)

I'd pick Cosmic Power Manipulation (like Silver surfer) and Speedforce.

The army would consist of disposable robots I endowed with some part of cosmic power ;)

As a weapon, I'd choose a white power ring.

As an ally, I wouldn't mind Hellspont.

This is a pretty sweet answer. My picks would be quite similar.

Super strength, because I can push a lot of weight so I can easly "push-punch" (synonym: smash) someones face in with ease which is pretty sweet...and since I also can tear my enemies limbs off their bodies with ease, even sweeter!

Super durability so all their mighty attacks becomes useless tickle torture, and the extra bone density is going to make my punches even heavier!

Weapon will be a two-handed hammer, so heavy it can destroy planets and only I can lift it!

I will have an army of World Breaker Hulks, and a Trion Juggernaut to deal with Orion.

Sheer, brute force is how I settle things.

Super speed, I'll be so fast that I make Barry look like an ant, and Human Torch's powers. I'll use the All-Blade as my weapon, my army would either be the All Caste or a sh*t ton of Lanterns, and finally, I'll bring Spectre with me.

Powers: Invincibility and time manipulation

Weapon: Invisible Radion blaster

Army: Flying robots, unarmed serving as a mere distraction. If I give them weapons, Darkseid and orion might generate a forcefield which would make them difficult to defeat with my tactics.

The plan would be to distract them with the robot army and then at an opportune moment freeze time and shoot them with the radion blaster killing them both.

If I get hit the invincibility will keep me alive.

If I need a character for assitance, I choose professor x as yet another distraction to try and mind f*ck them without them generating a force field.

I get a lantern ring and create stairs....
