The second volume of Booster Gold. It gives them a good story, an easygoing and easy to like character, and it gives them a good view on the history of the DC Universe.

Hard to say. Most of the comics I really enjoy have legacy as a large aspect which might not resonate very well with someone unfamiliar with the characters.

So I'll go with Superman Red Son because Lex is just the best in that comic.

Astro City: Confession. It's a great superhero story with interesting characters, no continuity baggage, and the art is top notch.

No.

Ignore everyone else, the correct answer is;
Past; Doom Patrol by Grant Morrison
Present: Anything Star Wars
Future: Nothing by Marvel or DC

Absolution by Christos Gage (Avatar Press) Not bogged down by other crossovers and continuity. Main character is relatable. Writing is sensational.

I would pick either Hulk or Batman. Both are amazing imo. Both are complex character struggling with who they are.

Depends on who is asking for one.

A lot of my friend really enjoyed the Batman games and movies, so I always give them a Batman TPB. (The Court Of Owls, recently)
