Every so often a character comes along who is described as a number, in this case I'm using X to represent any number, of times stronger than an average person.
Deathstroke for example having the strength of 10 men.
What I am curious about, is the average part.
Does X times stronger, mean the character is that much stronger than the average of every person of their gender?
Does it mean X times stronger than someone of their exact, height, age, weight, build, etc?
So in other words when a character is called X-times stronger than average, is it everyone's average? Or what their own average would've been without the powers/enhancements?
