WW's Sword or Cap's Shield

Two questions:

1. Do you believe Wonder Woman's sword can pierce Captain America's shield?
2. If you were a comic book superhero, which of these epic items would you rather wield - the sharpest sword in the DCU, or the sturdiest shield in the Marvel U? (wielding both isn't an option)

WW's sword probably can't cut through shield.

Anyway, picking the sword is stupid. What are you gonna use it for, pick fights in bars and slash people clean in two? Use it for extremely inconvenient firewood chopping (if you're not careful, you slash your leg off)? I would definitely pick the shield. Even if you don't get into a fight, you can atleast use it as a frisbee.

I alredy have a lot of swords.

Considering I don't fight often, both are kinda useless, but, I can use the shield as a snow sled, so I pick that.

Sword, and yes I do think it could cut through the shield.

Shield more useful and the sword has no chance in hell to be cut by the so called atom splitting sword.....which superman caught barehanded.......plus the only time it cut an atom was done by superman lol........

Which he did by clapping his hands around the flat side. (or if you are referring to the New 52 JL instance, wasn't that sword).

In the New 52, it was done by Superman because he could see atoms and WW cannot and they needed to produce a specific reaction. That doesn't mean the sword does not cut atoms when WW uses it.

Sword, and I think it could cut the Shield. Cap's shield would be better if I could use it like he can (ricochet and such), but realistically the sword would be much more applicable and useful.
