WTF?: Gwen Stacy to Return as Villain Carnage

Looks like the Spider Man reboot – The Amazing Spider Man film series is all set to repeat the exact same mistake that made the earlier Spider Man 3 such a disaster.

The upcoming third spidey film is rumoured to be overcrowded with several villains.

Some of Spider Man's arch enemies, namely: Electro, Vulture, Doctor Octopus, Kraven the Hunter, Mysterio, and Sandman will feature in the film as the group called The Sinister Six (a standalone film on this group of villains has already been confirmed), reports Christian Today.

Additionally, one of the most talked about antagonist for The Amazing Spider-Man 3 movie is Venom, known as the darker version of Spider-Man.

MoviePilot released a statement from "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" writer Alex Kurtzman, who described Venom as a completely opposite character from Spider-Man.

"Venom, in a weird way, is a representation of every line that will get crossed," he said. "He's a much darker character. I wouldn't even say he's more complicated, because I think they're both very complicated characters, but I think the attraction, for me, to Venom, is the idea that you can do things with Venom that you can't do with Spider-Man," he said.

It does not stop there. Latest rumours are also suggesting that Gwen Stacy, who died in Amazing Spider Man 2, might return in the third film as a villain!

Reportedly, Gwen will come back to life, without any memory of her past and will take on the role of villain – Carnage. Parker's love interest in the movie will be Mary Jane.

Of course these are all theories and rumours surrounding the plot of The Amazing Spider Man 3, which is slated for a 2018 release.

I could see that. The movies are always borrowing from the ultimate universe. I'd rather they bring in Spider-Gwen

I rather see crazy serial killer Cletus Kassidy as Carnage

Why is this so shocking? Everybody knows these movies are a mess.

Seems like they are cashing in the popularity of Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy. Not that I hate the idea, it would be far better to see Cletus Kassidy as Carnage. I will be looking forward to seeing this new incarnation of Venom though. Who cares about multiple villains anyway! This franchise is doomed since they started planning on a Spider-man cinematic universe.

And Thor was a frog i dont want to see this happening either.

Sounds pretty awesome. I cannot wait for the third film. The idea of gwen being carnage brings quite a awesome dynamic. Plus it'll be good to see how it tortures peter. Honestly these films are so cool and I cannot wait for the next instalment.

If done right, I could see it going very well

Emma is a fantastic actress so I think her playing a psycho may work out.

Raymond Reddington taking Shield and the Avengers by himself, because he is that good.

If it means more Emma Stone...I'm okay with this.

Sinister Six with Gwen and Venom? Way too overcrowded. It'd make more sense if it was just Carnage and at the end Peter finds out it's Gwen.
