Well, lightning powers seem cooler at first glance, but they sound hard to control and what practical use do they have. Even if you go crime fighting all it takes is one stray bullet to kill you. Impenetrable skin and enough strength to toss a car... Yeah, thats easy to control and keeps you alive.

Luke. I find his level of strength and invulnerability to be a much better assurance that I won't get accidentally killed by most of what I'd encounter. It's also much less dangerous to possess as electricity manipulation on Jefferson' level could easily fry the circuitry of an entire city or worse.
