Would you guyz like a Sentry movie?

Most of our fav comic chars are getting movies. And many of them proved worldwide hits.

Now, I really want a Sentry movie. He's one of the greatest chars ever created in comic book history. This is for his fans.

As for the actor playing lead role, I need Brad Pitt.

I'm open to other guys too, but feel Pitt would be awesome in this role.

Sentry is an amazing char, right.

All that inner turmoil with void n stuff..this can prove to be another hit.

@appzashok: Y'know, because everyone keeps saying Marvel is so far ahead. So if they made a Sentry movie after the ever-awesome "Man of Steel", the tables have turned.

Both are very different chars, have diff personality, diff origins, diff set of powers.(well some of them)

I don't want them to ruin the character.

No. Some things you can get away with, a Sentry movie isn't one of them.

Beside the fact he is a Superman copy, without all the things that make Superman an icon and a great character.

The made up back story ripped off Miracleman "A dream of flying so much", besides it stole a bunch from Miracleman.

Also he copy things from Mr. Incredible.

He is overpowered.

He is unbeatable.

His costume is dumb...

...

His face is stupid.

He has big ears.

That horrible beard.

He is getting bald

The funny thing, he is a great concept, but a terrible execution.

He should had worked, but all the thing they stole from everybody else, made obvious they werent trying, he was pure Hype.

Sentry should be fighting Broly as the king of overrated character that dont live beyond their gimmicks.

A great character isnt his gimmick.

I welcome any movie as long as it's well made and entertaining. So sure why not?

He is based on Kid Miracleman.
And the actual power-set of Superman is based on another character, he did not have it before the silver age...

I love Sentry as a character, and disagree with DeadpooltheT1000 on many points.

However, he is right. There won't be anything original in a movie about just Sentry.

Admittedly, his backstory is boring.

And a character as overpowered as him would only struggle with inner turmoil, which can get old.

So no. No movie IMO.

Yes, but the part of Sentry's life everyone forgot is basically all about him being the Superman of the Marvel universe. The "big good" who everyone liked.

Meh I am fine with that, especially since everyone forgot about it, and he ended up being a drugged out schizo.

I WOULD have been okay with this if I never heard about him, and the sentry void thing was the twist ending. You basically want fight club right down to the casting choice :P
