Would you be Okay with Aquaman leading the Justice League?
@Batnandez:
I think that this is very debatable. All of the Justice League members have a great understanding of human problems and concerns. All of the members have had a lot of contact with humans and have much more understanding than you give them credit. As a matter of fact, I would say that Batman has the least understanding of human problems among the entire team. He is always into his war against crime and corruption. The Martian Manhunter has the greatest understanding of human problems and concerns among the entire team (Pre-52), but he is not even human. Humanity's problems and concerns are not that different from that of the Atlanteans Aquaman ruled over. When it comes to superhero teams, having powers does not really affect human problems and concerns. Look at Hal Jordan and Cyborg, they are humans, with powers, who showcase the same understanding as you and I.
To further demonstrate how the Justice League members are connected to humanity, I will use this quote:
"It is a remarkable dichotomy. In many ways, Clark is the most human of us all. Then... he shoots fire from the skies and it is difficult not to think of him as a god. And how fortunate we all are that it does not occur to him."
-Batman
I think Aquaman's leadership seems a natural choice; he is a King after all. It seems completely normal that he would be accustomed to leading, and almost more difficult to believe that he could ever be comfortable taking orders from a lowly commoner.
Then again, I support any JLA breakdown that kicks Supes off the team. I find him too far overpowered to actually be interesting. He's like Galactus; anything that powerful only makes a good villain.
