Would you agree that comics are being taken more seriously

now more than ever before?

Of course. Thanks to TDK trilogy.

Yeah thanks to Batman and the Avengers MCU movies pushing comics into the forefront of pop culture.

They are being taken more seriously, but they still aren't being taken seriously to be honest. Most people would not put an astounding Graphic Novel on par with a masterpiece like Paradise Lost or the like.

This says nothing to my personal reverence, just to the general state of things as I see them.
