Say if Thor was now in the DC universe and he trys out for the Justice League. With his power level would he even be excepted into the league?

The consensus is that Thor is extremely slow for a heavy hitter. Wonder Woman would be more valuable then him because of the speed and power wise, they are on par with each other. He has no tech abilities like Cyborg or Batman so again no value to the team. Then you got Aquaman but yes Aquaman is not a speedster, but his value when dealing with aquatic problems is invaluable to round out the team. So there you go he probably would only make the reserve roster.

Assuming that he would be support characther of Wonder Woman and maybe Aquaman, he would be a member of JL/JLA but he would be similiar with others heroes.

He'd be arguably the most powerful member and possibly more helpful then WW

@albusan: Got to agree, I think they would find him less valuable then the other members but think they'd accept him as a B team member.

If he were in dc they would bring his speed up to be more like the others since dc is more into having their heroes be insanely fast than Marvel is and I tend to agree that making them be ftl(when they want to be or as a plot device) is kind of lame. Even without the speed boost I think Thor would be fine though since writers could still use his traditional powerset to make him useful.

He might be slow, but hes still as strong and durable as Wonder Woman and Superman and is extremely versatile powerwise, if freaking Cyborg and Aquaman can be in the JL Thor could easily be.

With his power levels that part is for sure he is more qualified than almost any of the members, but Justice League takes this no killing thing so much more serious then Avengers. I can't see Thor trying to protect the villain's life in a very serious/aggravated battle.

In universe there is no problem unless the League actually thinks him useless like they did with Green Arrow. I doub't he's percieved as 'too powerful' as was the case with Captain Atom.

Outside of the books however, there is a question if he isn't slightly redundant. The League has the myth angle covered with WW and Aquaman, they already have several 'super heavyweights' on the team and yes, most of them are faster than Thor too. He might be a better fit for the JLI or the JLD (especially since post-depowerment).

@movieartman: Indeed, DC Thor fought Big Barda! Ended in a stalemate though. Dunno the issue.

I'm thinking Thor def makes the squad. When you combine his strength, durability, striking feats, Mjolnir .....he brings more than enough to the table. Just based on his overall power, he's one of MARVEL more "DC-ish" characters imo

They would let him on. They let Shazam on and they didn't really know him like that. In fact Shazam before he joined had got into a fight with Superman even though it was a big misunderstanding. Batman would not trust him at all though, and would study him to build a weakness for him in case he betrayed them. Batman knows though he would be a great asset to the team and knows he would be a fool to turn down someone like him who is a power house, super fast, a god, and has magic. He'd be the strongest on the team.

He would replace Shazam, I'm sure Batman wouldn't mind.

Thor is already a lot like a DC character, being a god with his own comic series, like Wonder Woman. They'd accept him
