Would Jason Todd Be a Better Anti-Hero or Villain?

Anti-Hero, IMO.

Anti Hero, but he made a good anti villain as well.

Just a hero, that kills when required to.

I would've preferred him to be a villain, but at this point he's been an anti-hero too long for that to happen.

Anti-Hero, think hes a great characters. Just need some consistent stories to back him up and it would be great.

Red Hood and the Outlaws has gotten mass amounts of negative criticism for good reason. Some people also argue that Red Hood was created solely to be a ploy to Batman. I like the anti-hero route the Outlaws take though, it's a new direction for the character while staying true to his morales.

An anti-hero is a villain that the writers want the audience to root for and Jason has never been that. A hero that kills and has louse morals isn't an anti-hero.

Anti-hero. Though I don't think the character is appealing; I only seem to like when he's dying or when Batman's beating the snot out of him.

Dead. Or if he absolutely must be alive villain.

He was created and used as a cheap Dick Grayson knockoff, had a good stint as a villain, and now is once again a cheap Dick Grayson knockoff and master of arguably the worst PIS in the history of comics.

An anti-hero is someone that does bad things for a good cause. So like the Punisher will kill to stop crime.

An anti-villain is someone that does good things for a bad cause. So like Toyo Harada is trying to make earth a utopia but he's not doing it for the greater good, he's doing it because he wants to control everything.

I see an Anti-Villain as a villain that lacks certain traits of a regular villain. That's why I used Deathstroke as an example. Sure, he's a killer, he's a mercenary, an assassin, and he's even stated that he enjoys it and it's who he is, but he also teams up with the good guy every now and then. He even saves people.

Anybody saying a villain really doesn't under stand Jason's character at all. He never was a villain and he was never meant to be. Saying Jason is a villain for trying to teach Batman a lesson is like saying Splinter is a TMNT villain cause he wants to teach them a lesson.

It makes no sense, whatsoever.

I like him as an Anti-Hero.
