Or world his no kill code be bad for america?
Would Batman/Bruce Wayne be a good President?
Only if he stopped being Batman. Otherwise he wouldn't have enough time.
I don't think his no kill policy would transfer to making political or war decisions.
I think he could make a good president. You know he would try his best to fight injustice. Who knows maybe he dress up as Batman to deal with conflicts around the world?
No, Batman is myopic. He's been in Gotham for how long, and Gotham still has a major crime/corruption problem. He's never thought to install an official JL base in Gotham to help keep down the crime problem? Gotham is still a dark and dreary city after all of these years. Also no killing? How would he even be able to make basic decisions? War, Crime, Etc. He really would expect law enforcement not to kill anyone? Ever? :/
@lukehero: the fact that he restrains himself from killing does not mean he wouldnt allow the police force to use lethal force if necessary...alfred uses a gun...second...what would be the point of batman if gotham was all beaitiful and safe and sound...there have been many showing just that as a possible future
@blackwing0811: That doesn't mean he condones Alfred's gun usage. There are plenty of people Post Crisis and New 52 that Batman has worked with that I am sure he doesn't condone all of their actions. He still has contact with the Red Hood and hasn't brought him to justice that doesn't mean he condones Red Hood murdering villains. That's not how comicbook characters are written. Majority of the Marvel Heroes thinks the Punisher is a crackpot, but many heroes like Spiderman have worked with him.
Gotham still sucks, the character is who he is. He's been in the city for decades and it's still basically a comicbook version of 1970's New York.
@lukehero: all the facts you listed are true...i think there was a slight misunderstanding...i implied that he doesnt condone gun usage...as for gotham...i repeat...that type of setting is neccesary for the batman mythos
@blackwing0811: Gotham does set up Batman well, but as long as Gotham is still dangerous and dreary Batman is still a failure. He would make a terrible President as he wouldn't be willing to put dangerous criminals to death. If Super Villains were real, we would deputize all available super heroes and demand any Super Villain be put to death on sight. That's why people shouldn't get butt hurt over the MOS neck snap. If I guy just destroyed the city, pretty sure it's way too dangerous to have him alive.
The president doesn't really decide who lives or dies. He is a man in a position of representation. Presidents are more powerful than we think but less powerful than you'd hope.
I don't Bruce has the patience to deal with corrupt people he can't punch in the face.
Possibly. He'd probably make it harder to obtain guns and make punishments for criminals harsher, which would probably make crime rates drop at the very least.
