well he is against guns but would he work with someone who use guns

I think it would come down to whether or not what is shot out of the gun is lethal.

He has in the past. In the silver age he had a friendship with the Shadow.

A gun that kills, no, it's against what he does. He goes out of his way to not kill the villains he goes up against. He'll even go out of his way to protect a villain if one of his allies attempts to kill one.

Even a gun that kills, as long as the character himself doesn't kill people, then yes, he would.

He did work with the Punisher, he's also worked with Jonah Hex, Grifter- pre flashpoint (though he convinced him to fight without them in the final fight), Blue Beetle, Steel (yes, turrets count), Tangent Manhunter, Vigilante, and many others.

Yes...yes he would, his personal philosophy is that HE doesn't use guns...not counting that Darkseid moment of course, not that he wouldn't work with others using them.
