This has happened before. And it didn't go well.

Depends on the power. I mean, if he has the power to create a thin film of mucus around himself, it would be interesting, but I doubt it would make him the ultimate anything.

Batman with Superpowers would likely go mad with power, and more than likely be a villain, in the evil dictator/Justice Lord mold

Or if you were to just ignore that possibility, he'd likely just become Silver Age Superman in a different color scheme.

But the ultimate hero? I personally don't think so.

this happened in the brave and the bold cartoon, he got too used to relying on his powers and was helpless when someone has his equivalent of kryptonite

It's happened before and it didn't end well.

DC land is a terrible, TERRIBLE place. just...awful.

He took Superman's powers and solo'ed the JLA.

Pretty sure we saw him be pretty beast, but he won't be the ultimate hero.

Orion can take him.

It happened in the comics. He took Superman powers, beat the JLA & became a psycho. Later on powerless Superman & Zatanna beat Batman with prep time & took his powers away making Batman sane once again.

Point is, he got complacent, over confident, and not mention it pretty much drove him mad.
