I don't know if this one counts but Christian Weston Chandler. He is a webcomic "artist", but his "artwork" makes most people here topnotch in comparison.
The really sad thing about it? He was in his twenties to thirties when he drew that.

Rob Liefeld, John Romita Jr., and Kyle Baker are all horrible artists in my opinion. However, Liefeld and Romita have had their moments. I've never seen decent art by Kyle Baker.
Also the art on the Arkham Asylum graphic novel by Dave McKean. I also recently read Batman: Lovers and Madmen, and the art on that is pretty bad as well. But I've seen way to much bad art to list every one.
Now there have been a number of ridiculous posts in this thread but Kyle Baker and Dave McKean? I think you've won edgiest post ITT.
Two words:
Close second is Rob Liefeld and Romita Jr.
If Billy Tan is doing a fill-in on a comic that I read regularly, I'll skip that issue. The only time I've enjoyed his art was in the Age of Apocalypse point one issue of Uncanny X-Force.

Almost reminds me of this
Also the dialogue is terrible. "Zap to the extreme"
@Death Certificate: Don't worry Chris Chan has developed his ideas deeper, more complex, and wants to reboot his entire series for old & new fans. Here's a sneak peek of the New 104 CWC Universe.
This guy. Better than LiefeldI don't know if this one counts but Christian Weston Chandler. He is a webcomic "artist", but his "artwork" makes most people here topnotch in comparison.

LMAO.
Greg Land and Rob Liefield.
Greg traces his art and has the occasional "porno face". Sucks that Gillen has to work with him since he can actually write.
Rob is... you can't mistake his art, just make sure to look for disfigured bodies, missing feet, and these new hair dryer guns.
Liefeld...he's so bad i didnt know who he was until i saw a list of 50 worst comic drawings and he was on there like 20 times
and lol at the guy tracing movies and other comics
SERIOUSLY? WHERE THE HELL IS DAVID AJA? HIS WORK IS ABSOLUTE POOP. HAWKEYE?
lolwut? Go away, Aja is amazing on Hawkeye. You don't win awards for having poop art - Aja is amazing... AMAZING!
EDIT:
How the hell could you say any of that? Those artists are who CREATED all of the characters we love today. I thought this Austin Hasten guy had a dumb comment, but you just about take the cake...
Some guys who ruined my good time: Klaus Jansen. He could ink any artist into crap. Gene Colan, Tim Vigil always made lips look gross. Ron Lim drew the same face on everyone.
You can pick anyone from the 60s. Kirby, Ditko, John Romita Sr. Carmine Infantino.
Are you saying every 60s artist is bad? If so, what makes you say that? Do you just not like old comic books or something?
That looks awesome, there must be something wrong with you lol.
I think he's doing art for Dynamite Comics now.
@thelastlantern: Agreed Marvel Now Thunderbolt's frist issues were terrible, they've improved dramatically since he left.
Steve Dillon (But only when he's not on Punisher)
This, and his art is still the worst thing about Garth Ennis's old punisher run.
Also JRJR gets a lot of hate around here, his art is fine, but I agree he shouldn't draw for Avengers and some other title.
@Death Certificate: Don't worry Chris Chan has developed his ideas deeper, more complex, and wants to reboot his entire series for old & new fans. Here's a sneak peek of the New 104 CWC Universe.
that's the most amazing thing I've ever seen
JRJR's art for captain america is looking pretty good so, i wouldnt say he's the worst. And i like Frazer Irving's art its different from mainstream comic art. However Rob Liefield's art sucks period.
Agreed. except that I think JRJR relies to heavily on his colorist. The guy seems to have lost his passion for it, IMO.
He's actually talked about quitting a few times if memory serves correctly...
And I more then agree with that last part. Rob "won't draw a foot to save his life" Liefeld is the worst.
Also Paul Azaceta isn't good enough...
Spidey really let himself go....
Simone Bianchi ruins books for me. I like when he does cover art but when he is doing the whole book it usually kills the story for me. Two examples I can think of are his runs on Astonishing X-Men and Wolverine #50-55
That looks awesome, there must be something wrong with you lol.

He's doing the Masks title, isn't he?
IIRC this is Connor Willumesen artwork. I do respect him for being an artist but this was just.....ugh

Holy crap
Is that for real???
I was going to post a pic, but there's no way I can top that. That is without a doubt the worst artwork I have ever seen in a comic.
For the record, here's the one I was thinking of:
First thing that came to mind when I read the title of this forum.
You've gotta be kidding me.
@hangel: Wow! Really!?! That's funny. I actually love the work of older guys more than the newer guys! Maybe it's because I love the old, dated look to the characters and all. The only old school artist I don't care for much is Bob Kane, the creator of Batman. 1). He took so much inspiration from pulps to the point where certain frames mimic those of the one inside the pulp, 2). he stole ideas (Robin from Sheldon Moldoff) and refused to give credit, 3). often times ghosted, 4). had no real respect for his fans (or so I read in interviews with Sheldon Moldoff), 5). thrown a drawing a ghost did at nearby artist in the DC office and admitted he did so because he has no talent, and 6). because his style comes off odd to me. I mean he created the characters early on so they can't really be bad (because only the first artist can truly draw the character IMO), but some just look so odd. Really the only character that he originally drew that I liked the art for was Robin due to the goofy grin he always gave Dick.
Also seems like a lot of Marvel guys get the hate.
steve dillon....
Oh God I am glad to see this. He can't draw for sh*t anything that isn't scowling.
this is the template for all of his faces.
It's funny how different people's taste can be. I personally love JRJR's artwork. His work on the various Spider-man titles and now Captain America was/is great, but so many people seem to hate it.
My least favorite ever was Tom Grindberg. Every artist has their own style that works for them, but his artwork on Warlock and the Infinity Watch and later Silver Surfer were horrible to me.
Eric Canete seems like he is just a cartoonist that is allowed to draw occasional comics if they have a wacky, slapstick script.
Eric Canete is the worst there is IMO! He make Spidey look like a Looney Toon
What the hell am I looking at?
@spidey_15: HAHAHAHA, it's artwork by Michael J. Fox right?
Eventhough it's not nearly as bad as the ones mentioned here, I have to say I hate a lot of the artwork for Batman The Long Halloween. It's my favorite story with few competitors, but sometimes the art just looks like a kid did it.
This is shitty drawing if you ask me, what's up with his mouth?
there were two of these topics Threadomancied last night
but... I gotta say it, theres no competition, Rob Liefeld. he's the George Lucas of comics.
