Worst Cartoon Dad

Who do you guys think is the worst Cartoon Dad?

Options include, but are not limited to.

Homer Simpson (The Simpsons)

Peter Griffin (Family Guy)

Stan Smith (American Dad)

Richard Watterson (The Amazing World of Gumball)

Martin the Human (Adventure Time)

Cleveland Brown (Family Guy/The Cleveland Show)

Glenn Quagmire (Family Guy)

Vegeta (Dragon Ball Z)

Peter Griffin, hands down.

All you have to do is look how he, along with the majority of the family, treats Meg.

Even openly stated he doesn't like being around his kids.

Injures them more often than not, from the time he whipped Meg to the time he had it look like Lois ran over Stewie after helping covering up a serious head injury and commenting that he used to knock his kids out whenever the Patriots lost/every other week.

At least with the other Dads, they don't actively antagonize without some sort of goodwill behind it (to toughen up their kid, for example.) Even Glen had the decency to give his daughter up for adoption because he knew he wasn't a good father. (Though he probably intends to sleep with her when she's 18, but whatevs. It's a gimmick.)

Vegeta is a million times better than Goku as a father than Goku. Goku should be top 5.

He was dead, and when he came back to life for a day the first thing he did was grab his other son Goten in embrace, and say how proud he was of Gohan.

Ohhhh I see, well his reasoning was pretty sound. He won't be around forever and the boys did have enough power to defeat Fat Buu. All he as doing is making sure when he's gone the boys will be strong enough to stand on their own and protect the planet......that doesn't sound like a bad father to me.

Not killing a threat to the universe to let two kids handle it when you could just as easily kill that threat then teach the kids about fusion is being a good father

What part of he won't be around forever did you not get LOL. Would you prefer the boys become forever reliant on Goku to solve everyone's problems and too weak to solve their own problems?

Goku could've just as easily killed buu (which he showed capable of doing) then teach te boys fusion

I understand the point fine. What YOU are missing is the fact that the threat is DEAD, it defeats the purpose. The boys need an actual target now, who else are they going to practice with when they have access to all that power? It's not like any of them are going to be getting a bracing workout anytime soon. Sometimes you gotta learn lessons on the spot dude........it's called being pushed to the next level. Anyway this is the last I will say on this topic. Last thing I wanna do is derail this guys thread talking about just Goku, lets just agree to disagree.

Peter treats Meg like dirt and openly admits he doesn't give a crap about his kids, let alone not knowing basic info about any of them (sometimes ifs pretty inconsistent but still)..

Then you have Stan and Eugene..

How is there any question? Martin the Human! Finn lost his arm because of him!

Martin literally got his own sons arm ripped of after being an intergalactic space criminal in a cosmic prison and didn't even look back. The rest(other than peter who is legally retarded) actually do care about their children but are misguided or just stupid.

Once again........no amount of training they do there will equal fighting Majin Buu and beating him as they are, aka pushing themselves past their limits against an unstoppable foe ;)

@micah: I don't know.. having a father constantly fart on you must be a pain in contrast to being choked.. there's also the time Meg hanged herself and Peter casually said goodnight to her. Not noticing or caring that she was dead (for that episode)

I've seen all of that. My top 3 would be 1. Peter, 2. Homer, 3. Stan. Chocking is no laughing matter.....I'd take being farted on than having my neck broken every other day.

@micah: At least good old cartoon physics mean they survive no matter how severe the choking is.. in reality.. us humans can only take so much.
