Worst adaptation of villian in an animated show.

Who is the worst adapted villian for an animated superhero show.

I would say firefly in BTAS, the riddler in the batman (but really only for design in actuality he is the most relatable and closest to his comic version of all riddler versions.), lex luthor in the DCAU but mainly cause they removed all his interesting motivations from the comics and made him just a rich jerk yet he is still freaking amazing yet it would have been nice to see actual lex.

@dagmar_merrill: I only said lex should have had more of the sympathetic attitude he had in the comics, the whole thing about how he does not trust superman is gone making him just a rich jerk. And like I said riddler was great character wise but the design was terrible.

@bflynn316: I think they did a good job portraying him and sneaking in offensive things around the censors. For instance, when Hawkgirl says he's know Superman and he replies with "the ladies say different" perfect Lobo retort. Plus his careless disregard for human life was great (him tossing a car into a building after fighting Kalibek without even batting an eye.

I also liked this Batman series too (the Catwoman in it is awesome!) but out of the new updated designs, this one was off-putting. That isn't Bane!

I loved BTBB it is one of my favorite animated shows. In response to the OP thought I.. seriously can't think of any.

Justice League Doomsday was pretty bad, especially since Superlord slayed him so quickly.

Why so much hate for YJ Joker? I thought he was great. You guys couldn't at least objectively appreciate the fact that they were trying to do something different from Mark Hamill's definitive portrayal of the character? I thought Brent Spiner (a.k.a Data from Star Trek TNG) did a wonderful job. He also had one of my favorite Joker lines ever: "I've always wanted to cut that bird" (in reference to Robin).

I feel bad for not remembering the name, but there was like a Superman animated movie I saw awhile back, that was based off the 90's tas, Lex Luthor was like the comic relief.

I didn't care for the Batman versions of some of the characters Like the Riddler and Baboon Joker.

Favorite adaptation was Harley in the Batman Beyond Return of the Joker, that 3 second bit where she cut herself, has became one of my favorite bits in any comic anything, mainly cause My friends don't believe it happened

I was thinking that's weird too, Attuma should be a threat but there's no way he should be able to handle Hulk and Thor together. Hell he should barely be able to survive against either one on one.

People liked john dimaggio, michael emerson and troy baker. Not being mark hamil isn't a defense for a Joker that sounds like a scooby villain

@frogdog: Troy Baker? Thanks for proving my point. He was great, but that was a straight impersonation of Hamill. Spiner's take was different, just like DiMaggio's.

@redleader1: I hate it's cheesiness, it's over simplification of villains into evil characters without motivation apart from being evil, I hate how it basically made comic book characters seem childish and comic book fans seem like man-children. The Silver Age is disgusting to me on so many levels.
