World War II Era Comic Books about World War II

I'm looking for comic book title that was the only media which depicted the problems World War II soldier's were experiencing upon returning home. No other media outlets showed the psychological problems that soldier's developed, except these few comic books.

As much as it sounds that I know about  said comic all I have to go on is single image of one or two panel piece of art  in which a soldier, in a wheelchair, is "awoken" from a combat flashback by his wife. The style is similar to late 1940s Captain American and Sub-Mariner.

Any help?
