Will Thor fight Quicksilver in Avengers 2?

This is just pure speculation. In Avengers: Age of Ultron Quicksilver and his twin sister will be introduced. In the first movie Thor fought Iron-Man and then the Hulk so he seems to pick fights with most heroes but in the second movie do you think he will be someway challenged by Quicksilver? If so what do you think the outcome will be? Will Thor be embarrassed? Will QS be defeated? Or will it end by some plot device coming in?

I think he will probably punk him or something and not really fight him, a small encounter most def.

@cgoodness: Now who do you think will punk who? I believe there will be fight amongst the Avengers again. Will Thor have the upper hand or will QS?

@thitiki: depends, they have to introduce QS and SW early on, I'm thinking starts with Hulk fighting them both then the rest of the Avengers fly in, honestly we will have to wait and see, I wouldn't be suprised if they just shake hands with Cap and join.

To be fair his fight with Hulk wasn't his doing at all. Granted the Iron Man one could have been avoided, but Hulk was out of his hands.

Well.... he does enjoy a good fight - it's an Asgardian thing... ;-)

if its like the comics QS will make him look stupid since thor is slow and then finally thor will use an AOE attack and take QS down

Thor has reacted to Gladiator, Hyperion and Silver Surfer and stalemated all of them. He even nearly killed Surfer when he was mad. How is that slow?

Thor reacting to Gladiator is said to be pis & agreed upon plus i doubt Hyperion was at nano speed while combating Thor also scan for silver surfer .

I would like for them to have Thor throw his hammer at quicksilver as he just dodges it with ease & gets in Thors face arrogantly until Thor does some area attack that humbles him .

This. Thor is always being put down saying he is so slow and his combat speed is to low.

Will Thor even be able to touch him?

@wolverine08: Seems like he won't but we won't know for sure until the movie is released. The movie version could be better or worse than the comicbook counterpart

The trouble with Thor is that he is written with such inconsistent power showings. One minute humbling a speedster, next minute being pummelled by a slogger like Hulk. Oh and a lot of people don't read Thor comics but remember his film showings, where frankly he didn't show a lot of combat speed. He's not like, say Superman, who apart from the odd dodgy moment shows consistent combat speed both in his films and comics.

They will. QS and SS will be confronted by the avengers which will lead to a mini scuffle

Possibly. Quicksilver has a huge ego and will fight somebody, he can't help himself.
