Will they (Marvel and DC) make many more superheroes?

Just wondering cos I can't think of many new ones...

I think they keep making new ones from time to time. Not all of them stick though

Why would they stop? You're just bound to come up with a new character from time to time to further a story.

They do, but they aren't as popular. Batwing, any of the Avengers Academy or any of the newer X-Men come to mind
