Will The Watcher stay Dead?

What do you guys think? And if you don't think so, how long do you think he'll be dead for?

Who knows. I don't think they've used him effectively in decades, but he's still a classic character, so it could go either way.

Probably since he's technically a Fantastic Four character, Marvel decided to kill him off and create their own Watcher who they can use in the Movies.

No one stays dead in comics.

Don't they have like a planet full of replacements?

There are other watchers and he wasn't really a commonly used character anyway. Also nick fury replaced him as the watcher so he's probably not coming back unless nick fury comes back to earth which probably isn't happening because they're pushing the new black one because of the movies.

Yes he will stay dead however another watcher will take his place

Part of me thinks that now that Marvel has become so popular, they may want to get rid of characters like that who people may not see as "cool" which is a real shame.

Sadly most likely yes, seems most people don't like the character so the chances of "that" Watcher coming back are really slim.

Personally I love Uatu.

I love Uatu as well. He was a staple of the comics that made me love Marvel. Old FF and What-ifs, I always looked forward to Uatu's commentary on the What-ifs.

Yes, obviously. He will arbitrarily become the only comic book character to stay dead.

Hope he comes back in a few years. He and Nova (Sam) had a nice friendship.
