Will Comic and Anime fans ever be able to agree on anything?

I wonder if Comic and Anime fans will ever be able to understand one another instead of one side crapping all over the other. Will you all ever be able to come to a solid agreement on ANYTHING?! When it comes to the two.

I actually startied arguing with this guy in my class about how I thought comics were great and how he thought they sucked.

He hasn't read a single comic and only watches anime.

It's so funny like if you go to a Anime vs Comic. Like literally no one can agree, NO ONE. It is so funny, lets not even get into Dbz vs because it is literally impossible for anyone to agree on that. People have a hard enough time agreeing with Naruto vs.

Most anime fans haven't read anything about comics so they are very biased. My very biased anime friend thinks Healing factors are stupid, mainly caused I showed him Luther Strode pictures. It doesn't really matter to me though, he only watches mainstreamed anime like One Piece and Naruto... enjoy your 900+ episodes of complete nonsense <3

He also thinks the New 52 DC art is worse than the very early drawings of Goku. Like wut? Doesn't matter, he's getting like a 50% in art class.

I enjoy both. I have watched dozens of animes but barely own any comic novels and I still like comics more.

I don't watch anime, but have zero issues with people who do.

I use to watch to watch anime, but then I moved on and started reading comics.. I still watch anime but only if I'm super bored.

I too enjoy both.

Well "notoverrated" they come on here for the interaction with the people I believe that is why. I read and own all the latest comics like, so I cannot completely speak on that.

But it is just funny. Like go to a Naruto or Bleach vs a Comic character thread.

Like one side is completely just sh*ting on the other it is ridiculous.

Every anime fan I've ever met seems to want to substantiate the size of their genitals when I say I'm into comics. Before I know it, they're on about how Goku pwns Superman, batman is one-shotted by Naruto, and the entire universe crumbles to Vegeta by himself.

And I sit there like, "... All I said is that I like comic books.". I never get that from any other fanbase, so pardon my bias, but I think years of childhood experience is at fault.

Both parties are guilty of that one though. Even on here there will be a thread like "How stong is Goku" then someone will comment "Not stronger than Superman", then you know how the rest goes. Same goes for Superman. "Who can stop Superman in a 1v1 fight" someone will comment "Goku could beat Superman with both his eyes shut", then you know how it goes from there.

I can understand that USA likes DC/Marvel and Japanese likes Anime. I just dont understand why are Americans obssesed with Anime as well, when the most of the Japanese either dont give a s**t about DC and Marvel or they are making those superheroes/villains to look like Japanese Anime to feel better.

I'm a comic fan, and my little sister is an anime fan. And we're best buddies.

I love both, got a noice collection of comics and anime...even some manga (stopped collecting them recently plan on getting back into it)Idk why fans can't agree to disagree where ther is strife amongst them....guess that's how you seperate the mature from the immature.

not with me. i find manga annoying. the animation looks weird to me and the stories are weird. DBZ was pretty good growing up, and ive seen attack on titan a few times, its decent.
