It seems to me he is Superman with a GL ring and regular Supes has beaten and gone toe to toe with Darkside who is supposed to be one of the strongest in DC. I feel like there aren't too many that could take Superman with the added powers of a ring so why isn't Sodom Yat just wrecking the whole DC universe?

Sodam Yat is Superboy Prime level. There are plenty of people who could beat him.

He's not "wrecking the whole DC universe" because he's an unpopular character.

@i_dont_like_comics: yea, thats what im saying. Theres tons of thors, hyperions, shazaams, orions around. Just like marvel has a billion street level characters. I think we're agreeing.

@jonez120: I get that he's unpopular but how does DC explain Superman with a GL ring losing to anybody if Superman hardly ever loses. If PIS wasn't involved how powerful could he be?

dc has the most powerhouses, but also the most without powers at all

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_superheroes_and_villains_without_superpowers

so there are lots in that power range, but lots that don't last a second
