why are house of M and age of Apocalypse not canon they both effected storylines on earth 616 so why are they considered non canon.

They are canon. The events just happened in alternate universes.

Since when have they been considered non-canon? House of M has been the backbone of X-Men stories for years until AVX and AOA is one of the main reasons Scott has been all not Boy Scouty because of his "dirty influence" which could be argued to be the start of his "downfall."
