Why is DC comics so far behind in trades?

Hello as some one who just started buying trades why is DC so far behind compared to marvel? It makes collecting them a lot harder where as for marvel it seems to be every 8 issues or so they will release the last arc in a trade. Is there any reason for this or just DC being random.

I honestly haven't noticed, then again, I don't really collect trades, I'm already reading 2/3rds of DC monthly

I've long concluded that Dan Didio lost several publishing privileges to Axel Alonso in a cockfight.

Eh, it's a bit aggravating but it's a little better.

I'm used to it...better late than never, eh?
