So I've been in CV for quite a while now and I noticed that people are considering Batman a deity or something , and whenever they give him prep. time in a thread people always tend to give him the majority even when it's clear that he'll get roasted . Like that one time I saw someone give Batman 100 years of prep. against Living Tribunal .
My concern is : Why do people believe that Batman can beat characters like Hulk or Thor or even Superman while he gets roasted by Deathstroke and Cassandra Cain ?
Why is Batman considered unbeatable ?

Because he did. With prep he has taken down the highest tier of opponents. He beat Flash, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Superman and even Darkseid.
The LT is too far out of reach. But Thor and Hulk are not.
Better question is: Why are you people so butthurt about Batman?
@chimeroid: He would never be able to beat people like the Flash or Hulk without help from the writers.
@the_new_avenger: Not really true. that is allowed to be your opinion. But he has done it. You can be really angry about it or in denial. But he has beaten Barry and it made sense.
Also. With prep and knowledge he could do to Hulk what SS did to him and drain his Gamma energy reverting him back to banner. OFC WWH is on a different level and i dont see Bats taking him down even with prep.
@chimeroid: How would he beating someone who can react to everything Bruce is doing and be able to get way out of range before Bruce can finish doing what ever it is make sense?

People think Reed with prep or Doom with prep can react to Barry so why not Bruce?
@iknowwhoyouare: Because Reed & Doom are actually genius scientists that even Galactus admit that Reed has some kind of super intelligence . And Batman is a detective and shouldn't be able to invent and create things .
@iknowwhoyouare: They are not human, and i never said they would win. Batman's HUMAN brain can not react to the Flash. That's why i said the writers give batman help, and im sure they do they same to other prep masters.
@justiceway: Being a genius doesn't make you faster. Same situation should apply regardless of how smart you are.
Because of this bas**** @wenjunchew
He isn't
@the_new_avenger: So, if Luthor came up with a device that somehow nullified the Speed Force or say, could react to Flash, then that wouldbe ridiculous, yes?
@zer0-x: To nullify no, to react to yes even if he had a device that could react to Barry his human brain would have to react to the device that has reacted to Barry which it can't.
@the_new_avenger: Or, the machine could react by itself and therefore nullify the threat where his human brain wouldn't eve notice it.
@zer0-x: then yes, but no human can stand against these monsters on there own,
@the_new_avenger: And so Batman didn't. He got in his badass Justice League Buster Suit that he had created God knows when for this occassion and beat a not blood lusted Justice League. His suit did most of the work, he was just in it to protect himself from powerful punches.
@zer0-x: Batman has taken punched for Superman without a suit. Which is impossible
@the_new_avenger: Unless Supes was holding back.
@zer0-x: i 1/12th of his power would kill any human even peak humans.
@the_new_avenger: Doesn't he punch criminals, even super powered ones who aren't too far above peak humans? I think you're underestimating Superman's ability to control himself.
because he's the goddamn batman
@justiceway: Batman learnt how to build things when he was training.i can get you the scans if you want. He is both a detective and an inventor.
Not as experienced as Reed & Doom .
@the_new_avenger: So, if Luthor came up with a device that somehow nullified the Speed Force or say, could react to Flash, then that wouldbe ridiculous, yes?
That's the level of tech he makes although a weapon that outright negates it would be a cop out, something that gives him an edge would be better, that weapon the General used in the Flash TV show was pretty good, the one that was drawn to kinetic energy.
@justiceway: Never said he was.You said batman shouldnt be able to invent anything at all.I was just saying he can build things.
I didn't say he shouldn't be able to invent anything at all . But he shouldn't be put in comparaison with Reed & Doom on this thing because they're leagues above him .
I wonder if folks saying that just mean the Battle Boards or his comic book stories. If you're referring o the Battles Board..ignore everything about every character there. It's just a place fanboys go to argue that there guy (or gal) could beat anyone.
In the comics he's far from unbeatable. The best I've ever seen him do vs Joker is a draw. The only time I see Batman beating Joker is when Batman is Adam West and Joker is Ceasar Romero.
@justiceway: because he is unbeatable:)
@spider-manwins:
So did Deathstroke and a bunch of other characters. The only reason Spidey won is because it was a random encounter, Batman having no knowledge on him and he was physically weaker.
Batman is Batman for a reason :)
But in all seriousness, it comes from his over the top feats such as beating the JLA and being able to prep the way he does however that doesn`t make him unbeatable but only hard to beat.
My concern is : Why do people believe that Batman can beat characters like Hulk or Thor or even Superman while he gets roasted by Deathstroke and Cassandra Cain ?
Should probably go ask Itachi for this.
Fanwank. Lots and lots of fawning. Batman is only around 1/30th as powerful as his fans make him out to be
...because he represents a significant portion of comic book, toys, and merchandise sales for DC. ;)
If Batman's opponents had an equal amount of "prep time" and/or didn't under estimate what a human can do with a large enough "piggy bank"...Batman would be limited to only fighting street thugs... Batman still one of my favorite characters!
