This show is bad to the fact the writer kills characters. Death became a cliche in the show, and not mention how the writer is stuck now. The heroes are pathetic, like Arya Stark kills with opportunity.Meaning she is a puss and waits until here enemies are vulnerable.Meaning she is a wh@*e. The show is all about rape and false promises of dragons attacking kings landing. The villains are stupid and retarded that they not only manipulate the brain dead heroes, but kill them. Many fans will start attacking me and try to defend this bad written horrible show. You only defending it for the porn.George is killing characters for shock value.Manipulates the goyim in thinking the show is good. This show is to me, is like Twilight is to hellsing fans.
Why Game Of Thrones Is Crap...

Is it really that bad, I'd considered watching it but I get the impression that it's probably inundated by boring dialogue and dramatizations. So, idk. The killing people off thing seems like a gimmick.

It's not bad at all. It's a great show.
@oosupermanthathoeoo: it became pointless, go read the book. more deaths to come.
@redskull490: Duh. Of course there are more deaths to come, it is a show largely based on a war.
@lateralus: Its so one sided the war is.He is struggling to write.
i think the show is great !
@lateralus: Its so one sided the war is.He is struggling to write.
No it isn't, there were 5 sides, and they've all lost their king but one, who is probably going to get killed in the battle for Winterfell, if not, he'll probably become the Night's King.
Every single side has suffered immense casualties, Stannis was completely crushed at the Blackwater, The Red Wedding, Eddard's death, Tywin's death, Joffrey's death, Jaime lost his hand, Cersei was made to walk nude through the streets of KL, Kevan was killed, leaving the Lannister's in disrepair, Renly was killed, Balon died, Theon was tortured and castrated etc I fail to see how it is one sided, they have all lost a hell of a lot in this war.
Also, there's a reason the final book used to be called a time for Wolves...
@jaken7: @rogueshadow: No its not.
A reader got angry at author George R.R. Martin (source: The New Yorker):
The same blogging culture that allows a fantasy writer like Neil Gaiman to foster a sense of intimacy with his readers can also expose an author to relentless scrutiny when they become discontented. Fans desperate to find out what happened to Martin characters like Tyrion Lannister—a smart, cynical dwarf born into one of the most powerful families in the Seven Kingdoms—found it irksome to check Martin’s Web site for updates about the series’ fifth book, “A Dance with Dragons,” and find instead postings about sports or politics. They began to complain in the comments section of Martin’s blog and on Westeros.org.
[T]he discontent soon spilled over into other platforms—from science-fiction and fantasy forums to discussion boards on Amazon.com. One poster wrote, “George R. R. Martin, you suck. . . . Pull your fcking typewriter out of your ass and start fcking typing.” Another joked that Martin had written a book called “How to Cash in Big Time After You Write Half a Series.” Such invective has flourished even after Martin, in early March, announced that “A Dance with Dragons” will finally be published on July 12th. One skeptic, posting on Amazon.com, said of the release date, “Don’t hold your breath on this one unless you like passing out.”
An entire community of apostates—a shadow fandom—is now devoted to taunting Martin, his associates, and readers who insist that he has been hard at work on the series and has the right to take as much time as he needs. Even Gaiman got dragged into the feud when he responded, on his own blog, to an inquiry about Martin’s tardiness by issuing this reproof: “George R. R. Martin is not your bitch.”source:http://www.flickfilosopher.com/2011/04/game-of-thrones-george-r-r-martins-fans-have-turned-on-him.html

Were they supposed to be valid points?
Because he writes slowly the series is terrible? And TDWD article was just pathetic, it's bead because there isn't enough magic and the characters he liked. Stupid reasons like, 'why does Daneerys like Daario?' Because she's a teenage girl, despite her high intelligence she's subject to her hormones, he's basically the equivalent of a modern day rock star, with his blue hair, ringed nose etc What Daenerys is doing is stupid, I don't like it, it's called character growth.
Also, rather than quoting other people's stupid reasons for disliking GOT, please provide your own.
And you didn't even address the points I raised.
@jaken7: he's Not wrong ^-^
@rogueshadow: You don't like if someone does not like the show. Many people don't like the show and get back lash. I do have reason s for not liking the show.
I will name a few.Tons...
1. Plot holes
2. dialogue is boring.
3. Barely any magic.
4. Lies about being a dark fantasy. Berserk is a dark fantasy, not game of thrones.
5. Characters are dull, boring and bland.
6. The tactics don't make sense.
7. good guys are either stupid, gullible, or both.
8. Evil in the show is a joke. I feel Marik Istatar from Yugioh abridged is more evil, and threatening.
9. They use sex trying to get you interested.
10.actors don't know how to act, like the actor who plays Gentry.
11. Try to find a plot here is like trying to find acting in porn.

Fair enough. I disagree with every point here, and disagree that some are of any importance. But fair enough.
@rogueshadow: I'm disagreeing that you are disagreeing .

You are categorically wrong because I do disagree.

1. Such as?
2. The dialogue is the best part of the show.
3. That just sounds like a personal preference, but most do not care.
4. Where did anyone say it was a "dark fantasy". Now you are just making stuff up.
5. To you maybe, but over 8 million viewers tend to disagree.
6. Specifics?
7. I think Darth Helmet agrees.
8. Who?
9. Not the reason I am interested.
10. I have seen tons of shows with worse acting. Also I noticed you failed to mention great performances in the show like Peter Dinklage or Jackie Gleeson.
11. Maybe that is because the plot is not singular.
Don't bother man, the guy has trolled on GOT before. I don't even know why I'm bothering.
Did you really just call a twelve year old girl (who is clever and uses her smarts, as she obviously doesn't have an abundance of physical strength) a whore?
Disgusting.
I'm locking this thread. We already have a thread for unpopular opinions, as well as one for things that grind your gears, and it's pretty clear that this isn't going anywhere constructive.
Also, refrain from using f-bombs, as they're prohibited on Comic Vine, regardless of whether you're quoting something or not. Thanks.
