Why does Doctor Doom look stupid in the new Fantastic 4?

Im sorry but the new dr doom in the fantastic 4 reboot looks like sh!t compared to the 2005 version. It looks like somone wrapped him up in trash bags and melted the trash bags and then put a green towel over his head.

The Thing looked crappy as well in the new Fantastic Four. Once they begin to edit everything and add CGI, I'm sure it'll look quite fine.

Because this is going to be one of the worst movies ever made. Seriously I have not heard one bit of good news from this reboot.

Hope for best, prepare for worst?

Once i see the trailer ill decide if i wanna watch it or not but by the way things are looking its going to be a let down.

Probably because the new Fantastic Four is going to be stupid. (Of course, I can't judge the movie yet, but it sounds like it's going to suck.)

I'm trying to hope for the best, but every piece of news released about this film has been soooo bad.

Found Johnny Storm to. Lets hope they will have good cgi for him cause the way the characters are looking i wouldn't be surprised if that is actually what he will look like on the screen . lol

Really hope the CGI will be better than the other live-action movies.

Are you guys really basing the character and film quality of this movie off of pre edits/green screen/ non-cgi costumes? Really?Im sure all movies including Marvels look like crap before edits and cgi is added.If it was a trailer then i'd understand. Guess ya gotta have something to complain about when you judge prematurely.

Hopefully it's just going to be a base for CGI after-effects like the thing's outfit.

I'm still very iffy on this movie.

It seems like the cast is full of little kids. The guy from 21 and Over is Reed.

I mean, c'mon, I think this movie sounds bad but this is stretching... They obviously have a lot to do with cgi and all that stuff.

Because it's supposed to be an orgin story and it makes more sence that he doesn't that he would just instantly get some insanely cool high tech armor, and this one makes him look dark and scary

This is the first time I've heard anyone say something positive about the 2005 Movie!Doom.

My thoughts exactly. It's hard to judge a movie that no one has seen yet.

Aslong as he use magic or sorcery I could care less what he looks like.

Yae i would like that. Instead of the campy lighting blast i would be happy if they show him using mystical powers and tech.

Too much on CGI.. Less time on a good story, and charcters.. -sigh- Green Lantern all over again.

This movie was /Doomed/ from the start.

We wont have a final judgement until the trailer atleast. I just hope its better than green lantern......that shouldn't be too hard.

Dr. Doom is a character that doesn't really translate well to live action. Certainly aesthetically speaking, it would be hard to pull off.

I'm not overly satisfied with Doctor Doom's gear - but overall, this isn't the best shot and the armour's been through some sort of damage... but looks crappy nonetheless. Here's hoping there'll be some sort of alternate armour or something of the sort - I'm more hyped over a first look of the F4's suits... damn... that'd be cool.
