That's a tough one since there are so many that have some awesome power with swordsmanship.

My choice is a three-way-split between Travis Touchdown form No More Heroes, Samurai Jack and Deadpool, since the first made his technique by combining made up fighting moves with pro-wrestling holds to kill ten of the worlds greatest assassins with only a lightsaber, while the other spends his entire life fighting with a magic sword to vanquish ancient evil, and the other is chaos incarnate in battle (who dual-wields swords, which is a sign of of a true badass).

To be fair though, I don't read much manga or watch a terrible amount of anime so I wouldn't know any in those genres, maybe Kenshin Himoura ought to go in the list too.

Ditto.
LOL... I was going to write, Samurai Jack is an awesom swordsman but Samurai X is better. Then I saw you gave Kenshin an honorable mention.

There is no swordsman that can even come close to the level of Samurai jack, none. His feats make all the others look like crippled 80 year old men, comic or manga. It doesn't matter.

Anyone who says otherwise has not seen the entire series. Because his feats defy insane.
