Everything is subjective, I find Cliff's work pretty mediocre. The art is so square and flat. Meh
Here a couple depictions I like of WW in the New 52.
Pelletier/Parsons from Aquaman 30 (later to be in Aquaman Annual 2)
And Tony S Daniel's from Superman/WW
Especially Pelletier/Parsons where she has like battle scuffs all over her. She looks so awesome.
@fallschirmjager: Cliff's art is the only thing you won't find her look like a sex toy. WW btw.
@eisenfauste: nah it does not look good cause its trying to be to sexual

She also looks bad.
Every comic character is sexy. I'm not that sensitive and don't mind if Wonder woman looks sexy. She should. So should Batman and Superman and every other big name hero.

She looks beautiful.
There's a difference between sexualizing and oversexualizing, Daniel does the latter. And Batman and Superman are generally not drawn as sexy, Nightwing etc. are.

Agree to disagree. The art looks extremely mediocre. Its square, flat and not lively at all. Its the biggest gripe I've had with the book since the start. It bores me to tears.
No he doesn't, not even close. You want oversexual go look at Vampirella.
Batman and Nightwing just had a fight with both their shirts off. Batman is drawn sexy. He's the epitome of male perfection in every single comic. Giant muscles everywhere.
Every comic character is drawn sexy. Because attractiveness sells. Spider-Man is suppose to be a skinny college kid and not a couple months ago had his uniform destroyed and he was sporting a pretty awesome 6 pack.
@fallschirmjager: gotta go wit this. but i like wara better. i hate when people criticizes comics for drawing the characters to attractive. its called comic for a reason. people like to imagine themselves as the character

Vampirella is extreme but that doesn't mean Daniel doesn't oversexualize women. I've seen enough to know that.
And that was a Nightwing issue, in his own title he is rarely drawn as that. In many JL comics he's drawn as a little limping and cape covering his whole body.
I don't have any problem with characters drawn as sexy but there's no need for unnecessary ass and boob shots and awkward poses.
This.
I'll say Yawara also
unless.....someone can show me a pic of Wonder Woman to make me think she's hotter
@xwraith: Ya'wara. She showed up in Aquaman a while back part of the Outsiders I think
Going with Ya'wara on this one as well
@frozenedge: This is the first time I've seen Ya'wara, but she gets my vote.
@xwraith: Sorry not Outsiders they were called the Others. I think Ya'wara and the Others showed up an arc or two before the Dead King arc in Aquaman
This.
That mus hurt her spine. What is this, the 90's? Lol. Oh well, I guess.
@twentyfive: Yeah the artist had a flair for the dramatic, I would say late 90's early 2000's but don't quote me on that.
@fallschirmjager: skinny college kid? You do realize that he hasn't been in college since the early 80's and that he has Spider-powers right?
This is the hottest pic of WW I have ever seen. Perfect figure. She wins.
O_O
*jaw drops to the floor*
… wow. I apologize, I've never been the biggest Wonder Woman fan… but HOT DANG!!
The the level of hotness here, it's… it's...
Your a bloody liar, Daniel has not once NOT A SINGLE GOD DAMN TIME over sexualized or even sexualized Wonder Woman in SM/WW not at a single time, I DEFY YOU TO GIVE ME A SINGLE SEXUALIZED IMAGE OF WONDER WOMAN DRAWN BY DANIEL IN SM/WW.
THROW DOWN!
Ass being in view does not f--king equal sexual, not once has he drawn her butt or boobs overly pronounced or exaggerated, and he never draws back broke or unrealistic poses.

He's proportion are good but he did draw her in bad poses and her costume looks more like swimsuit when Daniels drawing it. He pretty much draws every women that way, even Talia.
@movieartman: And don't overreact so much.
Wonder Woman. Ya'wara just doesn't do it for me. Must be the hair.
On the matter of Diana's artists, I think both Chiang and Daniel bring their own styles, and both are talented artists. Chiang's Wonder Woman looks more grounded...I don't want to say butch, but her proportions are more realistic I guess. When he does slim down the midsection, he can draw quite an attractive but still practical Diana though:
Daniel's Wonder Woman is more standard superheroine, but you know, that has its merits as well. His WW certainly has a more shapely figure, but on a whole, I don't think he falls into the extended-bosom-and-bum or super-skinny-waist Liefeld-esque problems in general.
Ok the 2ND image, ill give you is badly posed as while I don't think it's a full on back broke pose she is odly twisted, but I don't think it was for fanservice, her cleavage isn't all that and isn't focused on.
BUT the 1ST spread I don't see any problems with whatsoever, her stance as doomsday is about to punch her is defiant and awesome, she flat out looks like 'that all you got bitch, my arms are broken but I'm still not staying down, come at me bro!'
Her butt is in view but and looks sexy as hell but again it's far from Obvious fanservice, it's not the focus, it makes sense for her position, and the buttocks are not exaggerated to the point that they look unrealistic for her body.
Ok the middle panel with her cleavage i will conceede counts as fanservice as it is the focus in the panel, that being said FANSERVICE THAT IS DRAWN WELL IS NOT A BAD THING, and that panel has no artistic or anotomical flaws.
The first spread is great.
@movieartman: I like Daniel's art and I don't hate when women are drawn sexy but I've been gotten so used to Chiang's art that it just seems wrong when she's drawn any other way. His WW is beautiful and powerful.

Completely agree.
