Think of the realistic ramification of option B. You're controlled by someone else which means your free will is completely gone. On top of that, you live forever. So for all eternity, not only are you forced to outlive EVERYONE you'll ever know, YOU CAN'T EVEN CONTROL YOURSELF! So what's the point of eternal life!?

I'd rather be myself and die with the pride of knowing I lived life under my terms and agreements.
