@Billy Batson: Again, that's a good point, and I thought of that. But what if you're just driving along down the street, and some twit cuts you off, the Batmobile isn't very inconspicuous, whereas the COE truck is. Optimus could promptly transform and mess than twit up.
Liam Neeson is an absolutely brilliant choice Mistress Redhead. Although I was a bit saddened that you didn't mention his roles as Michael Collins or "Priest" Vallon in Gangs of New York (didn't get much time but what he did with it was awesome).... On the topic it would be a very difficult choice. I think at this time instead of picking what would be my obvious choice (Wolverine) I'll go with Nightcrawler. The guys all heart and would sacrifice himself without a second thought.
Cassandra Cain is a good one but honestly, I'd want somebody I could joke around with and she seems more "broody" than some other options. You know, I bet I could go with this guy:
Taskmaster He's got a rep, he's scary looking, he's capable, but I've seen a number of scenes where he can kick back and just chill too. The memory loss thing might be annoying though. So maybe somebody else with a chill personality and a "grab bag" selection of powers, the Exiles version of Mimic:
