Who would be the two Leaders of a DC Civil War?

Civil War is more like the culmination of all the themes that Millar's been delving into throughout his career. If you've ever read his earlier work on Authority and Ultimates; there's a lot of exploration of superheroes affecting the balance of power in the world, and about the role of politics in comic-books et cetera. Civil War seems like an extension/outgrowth of that (though whether it's good is an entirely separate conversation in itself).

There are parallels, but I think Civil War is distinct enough to not be considered a ripoff.

Well, whoever leads Pro-Reg is making the right choice, as far as I'm concerned.

@veshark: I think Civil War took concepts, I just think it's much worse than Kingdom Come as a story.

Just for the heck of it, why don't some people imagine Bruce being pro-registration and Superman anti-registration? Why is Supes always set up to be the badguy when lines are drawn in the sand?

I blame TDKR and people thinking that cause Superman is a boyscout that he'll automatically take an authoritative stance. Truth be told, neither one of them would be Pro Registration. Lex Luthor would be pro registration.
