Who would be best fit to play Gambit in an X-Film?

With Channing Tatum set to play Gambit in either X-Men Apocalypse or a stand alone film, is there anyone you think would better fit to play Remy Lebeau on the big screen? Personally I would like to see Josh Holloway suit up as the Cajun because I think he fits the mold perfect.
